Loving the Lord in His Word, J.C. After my turn to the Lord, which was through the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, I was led by the Lord to attend the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA), a two-year intensive Bible truth and church service training, established by Witness Lee. While there is so much to say regarding such an incredible experience, some of the most enjoyable aspects that I have learned here have been the daily life practices necessary for the Christian life. One such practice is pray-reading the Word. When we come to the Bible, we cannot just come to the black and white letters of the Bible (2 Corinthians 3:6), but we need to draw out the spirit from the Word in order for the Bible to be a book of life to us (John 6:3). Probably the best way to do this is by pray-reading the Word, that is, taking the words of the Bible and praying them back to the Lord (Ephesians 6:17, 18). In one of my experiences of pray-reading, I turned to the Lord after a brother had offended me. Remembering that one of the best ways to be freed from offenses is to pray-read the word, I opened the Bible randomly and began pray-reading the first verses I saw. I pray-read Acts 7:59-60. By praying over these verses, the Lord really spoke to me about how insignificant this offense was and showed me how stubborn I would be not to forgive him. I repented and thanked the Lord for His faithfulness and just loved Him all the more. It has been through such enjoyable experiences, along with gaining a deeper understanding of the Word through the ministry of Watchman Nee and Witness Lee, that my love for the Lord in His Word has grown stronger and stronger.
